I have spent nearly 15 years extensively researching my own family history and I’m dedicated to helping people learn about their ancestors. I leverage various online platforms, such as Ancestry and FamilySearch, and I also gather information from local historical societies, state archives, and national and international archives.

Methodology

My methodology involves analyzing a diverse range of primary sources, including birth, marriage, and death certificates, as well as newspaper articles, court records, tax records, census registers, and more. By meticulously piecing together information from these sources, I am able to construct comprehensive timelines and narratives about people’s families.

Delving into your family history is a truly illuminating experience. It helps you gain insight into your ancestors’ lives, appreciate your roots, and understand the legacy that has shaped who you are today.

Specializations

My genealogical research specializations include:

  • Danish

  • Early-Colonial America

  • Eastern European Jewish

  • English

  • French Canadian

  • Irish

  • Italian

  • Swedish

Please note: The accessibility and preservation of genealogical records can vary significantly across countries and regions. This is often due to loss or destruction of records over time, the absence of a comprehensive registration system before the mid-19th century, or government restrictions on accessing vital records.
